About the Activation
A rare collaboration with flautist Rai Tateishi, alongside multi-instrumentalist and visual artist Kenichi Iwasa. Acoustically responding, without amplification, to a range of wind instruments within the galleries, their activation offers sound as a site of collective attention. Together, they draw on improvisation as a devotional and disciplined practice, where intuition and structure coexist.
