For Earth Day, Proposition partnered with Matrix Chambers to share ideas from our Keystone Species exhibition and spark a conversation between art, ecology, and environmental law. Proposition artists Lisa Gornick, Tyrone Isaac Stuart and Jennifer Crouch joined wildlife artist Beatrice Forshall, with Georgina Beasley of the Net Zero Lawyers Alliance as host, for a lively discussion on how artistic practice and environmental law approach the same urgent questions from different angles. An evening of sharp thinking, shared perspectives, and new connections around the future of our environment.

Dr. Jennifer Crouch
Dr. Jennifer Crouch is an art-science practitioner working across sculpture, textiles, installation and image-making. Informed by a background in physics, medical illustration and textiles, their transdisciplinary practice uses speculative world-building to explore embodied knowledge across scales.
Lisa Gornick
Lisa Gornick is a filmmaker, performer and artist known for live drawing shows—hybrid performances combining real-time cinema, storytelling and spontaneous exhibition. Drawing in front of audiences, she narrates personal and political histories through DIY visuals.
Tyroneisaacstuart
Tyroneisaacstuart is a London-based interdisciplinary artist working across sound, movement, text and installation. His practice moves between solo and collaborative modes, engaging diasporic experience, intergenerational rupture and systems of movement.
Beatrice Forshall
Beatrice Forshall is an artist and author whose detailed drawings explore biodiversity, conservation, and humanity’s relationship with the natural world. Through art, research, and storytelling, she advocates for environmental awareness and ecological care.
Georgina Beasley
Georgina Beasley (host) is Executive Director of the Net Zero Lawyers Alliance, a global network mobilising the legal profession to support climate action. Her work focuses on aligning legal practice, policy, and governance with net-zero goals.
