Applications for the Proposition Residency 2027 are now open!
Application deadline 2 November 2026, 23:59 GMT
Proposition and Central Saint Martins UAL are pleased to announce a three-month residency opportunity for graduates and current students taking place in Spring 2027. The residency will support experimental projects exploring human beings’ creative potential as part of the living world. It will provide shared studio space and access to the physical, intellectual and communal resources of Proposition, enabling residents to develop a self-directed project within an active community of artists and creative practitioners. The residency includes an opportunity for a shorter stay at Wakelyns Agroforestry, a world-leading research and demonstration site, developed by Prof. Martin Wolfe, that provides an inspiring contemporary example for how the design of food systems can make us a Keystone Species.
Who can apply?
Graduates and current students of Central Saint Martins, UAL, from the following programmes are eligible to apply:
MA Art and Science
MA Biodesign
MA Material Futures
MA Regenerative Design
Applicants must have graduated within the five years preceding the start of the residency, or be current students who will have graduated by the start of the residency.
